Former national striker Bremer about to move to Cologne

Pauline Bremer's contract with Brighton & Hove Albion expires at the end of the season. The former German international is now close to a move to 1. FC Köln.

Last Monday, Brighton announced on their website that they would not be extending Pauline Bremer 's expiring contract. The former German international joined the Seagulls in the summer of 2023.
Bremer has already won the Champions League twice and the DFB Cup three timesShe has previously played for other international heavyweights: After starting out at Turbine Potsdam, she played for Olympique Lyon between 2015 and 2017, where she won the Champions League twice as a young player (2015/16, 2016/17), then for three years at Manchester City and from 2020 to 2023 at VfL Wolfsburg. With the Wolves, she celebrated one Bundesliga title (2021/22) and two DFB Cup victories (2021/22, 2022/23).
Now the 29-year-old is likely to return to Germany. 1. FC Köln is close to signing the 21-time German international striker (capped four times).
Bremer would not be the only new Cologne player with a Wolfsburg pastBremer has played 72 Bundesliga matches in her career, scoring 26 goals. 1.
