Official: Borussia Dortmund signs Bellingham brother Jobe

The transfer of Jude Bellingham's younger brother Jobe to Borussia Dortmund is complete.
As the club announced on Tuesday, the 19-year-old midfielder signed a contract until June 30, 2030.
According to consistent media reports, BVB will pay approximately €30 million in base fees to Premier League newly promoted AFC Sunderland for Bellingham. This amount could increase by €5 million through bonuses. Sunderland is also said to have secured a 15 percent share of any resale.
Jude Bellingheim matured into a world star in DortmundThe club and the atmosphere at the Dortmund stadium – the 19-year-old was often there during his brother Jude's time at BVB – are said to have won him over. Jude Bellingham matured into a global star at the club from 2020 to 2023 and then moved to Real Madrid.
Bellingham will travel to the USA with BVB for the Club World Cup (June 15 - July 13, 2025). In the group stage, Dortmund will play against Fluminense (Brazil), Ulsan HD FC (South Korea), and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa). "I'm delighted to now be a Borussia Dortmund player and to be fighting for titles with this great club. I want to do my part to celebrate success with these amazing fans here, and I'll work on myself and the team every day to achieve that," Bellingham said, according to a club statement.
Kehl: "Mature into a leadership personality "BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl has been following Bellingham's development for a long time, he said: "He has taken another immense step in the past year and, at the age of 19, has matured into an absolute leader. His presence and charisma in central midfield are remarkable and will make us better in different systems."
Jobe Bellingham is currently in the England U21 national team squad, for which he has made four appearances so far. The central midfielder was an indispensable pillar of Sunderland's promotion campaign in the Championship: he played in 40 of their 46 matches this season, including 38 full 90 minutes. He scored four goals and provided three assists.
