Report: FC Bayern reaches verbal agreement with U21 star Woltemade

According to Sky, FC Bayern Munich has reached a verbal agreement with U21 and VfB Stuttgart star Nick Woltemade. The striker is reportedly planning to move to Munich this summer. There have been no negotiations between the clubs so far.
After his strong debut season with VfB Stuttgart, the 23-year-old Woltemade is currently enjoying a run at the U21 European Championship in Slovakia. He leads the scoring charts with six goals and helped the team reach the final against France on Wednesday evening. According to Sky, the attacker plans to be a goal-scoring player for the record champions next season. He is set to sign a long-term contract with Munich until 2030.
Before the Club World Cup match against Benfica Lisbon, Bayern star Pavlovic said he would like to have "my good friend" Woltemade as a teammate in Munich and was actively trying to attract him. "I didn't know the two knew each other so well. This is the first time I've heard that," Freund responded. However, it was normal for him that "the guys would chat with each other," the Austrian added. "If the two get along well, it certainly doesn't hurt."
Woltemade's performances also impressed national coach Julian Nagelsmann and he was called up to the senior national squad for the Nations League finals . It's clear that his performances last season have attracted interest from other clubs.
