The weekend surrounding the Champions League final is a real highlight not only for the fans of the two finalists Paris St. Germain and Inter Milan, but also for neutral football fans and those with little interest in football.
Fan festival in the Olympic ParkThe 2025 Champions League final in Munich will be accompanied by a fan festival in the Olympic Park. This location offers an ideal setting for fan festivals. The area around the Olympic Stadium already proved to be a popular meeting place for fans during last year's European Championship. Various activities related to EURO 2024 were scheduled there.
The Champions League final celebrations begin on Thursday, May 29, and run until Sunday, June 1. This fan fest will feature various performances and appearances from a variety of artists. There will also be a public viewing event during the final.
A diverse program awaits visitors every day at the Olympic Park. They can indulge in sporting activities or simply enjoy the euphoric atmosphere at the Olympic Lake. In addition, many different musical events and concerts will take place throughout the long weekend.
Stadium entrance from 5 p.m.Fans who managed to secure tickets for the final will be heading to Fröttmaning on Saturday afternoon, as it is recommended that they arrive at the stadium four hours before kickoff, i.e., at 5 p.m. This early arrival is necessary because there will be stricter ticket and security checks.
Procedure in the arenaJust a few minutes before the final kicks off, the audience will be put in the mood by the legendary rock band "Linkin Park", who will be the headliner of the "UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show".
After 90 or 120 minutes, or perhaps even after a penalty shootout, the award ceremony for the newly crowned Champions League winners will take place, with UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin playing a key role. Finally, the Champions League trophy will be lifted aloft by the captain of the winning team.
