Company fires employees for recording TikToks during work hours

Viral Industrial Warehouse.- A company decided to fire several workers after they were caught recording TikTok videos inside the facility... and it looks like their careers as influencers will have to take off elsewhere.

That's what happened to three young employees working at a maquiladora in the north of the country, who spent their time sharing videos recorded inside their workplace... until they were caught.

The clips showed them performing dances inside the company, complete with uniforms, and apparently during work hours, a situation that clearly didn't please the Human Resources department, who had already endured enough choreographies to the rhythm of slow reggaeton.

It seems the company owner isn't a big fan of TikTok.

“They couldn't take away our smiles: they fired us for thinking we were TikTokers,” was the title of another post, where they are seen leaving work (for the last time), with their severance pay, but without losing their style.

Some testimonies indicate that it wasn't so much because of the dance moves, but because the images revealed internal processes and machinery, which violated the confidentiality agreement typically applied to these types of companies.

“It was worth it 🤣 Let no one take away their dreams, let's support them so they can become TikTokers with enthusiasm. Cheer up!” wrote one enthusiastic follower. “The company couldn't take it hahaha, but I'll help them with their compensation,” added another, clearly with no intention of doing so.

For now, former employees are already uploading tutorials on "how to resign with dignity when you were actually fired" and "how to make TikToks without HR finding you." Fame is already waiting for them... or at least a few likes.
