Israel reopens some Gaza crossings for aid, but keeps Rafah closed.

Israel reopened the Kerem Shalom border crossing into Gaza in the southeast of the enclave on Monday, as well as other crossings for the access of humanitarian aid, Cogat, the Israeli military agency that manages civil affairs in the occupied Palestinian territories, assured EFE.
"Following a directive from the political echelon, the Rafah crossing will remain closed to the movement of people until further notice," the organization's statement said, without mentioning when aid might be allowed to enter through this crossing point between Gaza and Egypt.
Israel closed all access points to Gaza on Sunday in retaliation for an alleged Hamas attack in the southern part of the enclave. The Israeli army also bombed the southern and central parts of the Strip.

According to the Israeli press, the government decided to halt access to basic goods such as food, medicine, and fuel to Gaza, at the suggestion of Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire agreement.
The agreement announced by US President Donald Trump stipulated the immediate entry of humanitarian aid. Access to the enclave—which suffered famine in Gaza City and surrounding areas—has increased since the start of the truce, but it remains far short of the needs of its 2.1 million inhabitants.
Israel reportedly killed 45 Palestinians According to the enclave's Health Ministry, which reported in its daily bulletin on Monday, Israel killed 45 Palestinians and wounded 158 others on Sunday in airstrikes launched from north to south of the Gaza Strip.
In its statement, the Ministry of Health also reported that on Sunday, defense teams recovered 12 bodies from among the tons of debris caused by the Israeli offensive in the Strip.
