León beats Necaxa with a tunnel goal against the goalkeeper

Without James Rodríguez, León overcame adversity and defeated Necaxa 0-1 , earning its second win in the 2025 Liga MX Apertura; Nicolás Fonseca missed a penalty for La Fiera in the final minutes.

Needing to earn all three points, Necaxa and León took to the pitch in Aguascalientes after losing positions the previous day.

It was from the 12th minute of the match when La Fiera managed to impose conditions despite the electrifying start of the locals, where Ismael Díaz brought the ball down in great fashion inside the area, shook off his rival marker and managed to finish under the legs of Ezequiel Unsain.
