Several trains were evacuated in Navarra after trees fell due to strong gusts of wind.

The Civil Guard intervened this Friday to assist passengers on several trains in Navarra that were stopped around 9:20 p.m. The interruption was due to a power outage on the tracks, caused by several fallen trees near the Castejón and Caparroso stations, according to the Civil Guard.
In Castejón, two trains were grounded: one traveling from Madrid to Pamplona and another traveling from Barcelona to Pamplona . A third train was also affected at Caparroso station .
Local police officers, along with patrols from the Tudela Civil Guard and the Pamplona Citizen Security Unit , arrived at the scene. They found that the trains were stopped with nearly a thousand passengers on board.
At around 11:50 p.m., Adif arranged for the affected passengers to be transported by bus. Four vehicles headed to Castejón station to evacuate more than 200 passengers to towns such as Pamplona and Tafalla.

From Caparroso station , passengers were transported on three buses to Tudela train station . In addition, medical attention was provided to an 80-year-old man who suffered a minor head injury after a fall.
