MasterChef Celebrity continued last Friday with a challenge well known from previous editions and which they had already had a test of this time: the mystery box.
The reality show began two weeks ago and has sparked all sorts of opinions, including the withdrawal of one contestant . This time, the challenge was to work with Mexican food, and all contestants were warned.
The mystery box is back with a Mexican flavor. This time, the challenge was for pairs who would work in the kitchen in turns. The groups were organized as follows:

The challenge involved working with tortillas, a typical Mexican dish that, since Belén Alonso is originally from the Aztec country, would be highly relevant in determining the outcome . The result, after 50 minutes, had to have a Mexican flavor, and the winner would receive an immunity pin, in contrast to the black apron for the losers.
Amid the judges' evaluations of the dish creation process and their suggestions, they praised the work of Valentina Taguado and Mario Yepes, as well as Michelle Rouillard and Violeta Bergonzi. After a while, the evaluations of each dish began.

In this segment of the show, something happened that surprised the contestants and put Julián Zuluaga at risk. Due to a timing mix-up, the actor couldn't carry out the idea he had planned to present to the judges. They had noticed the incident and that Zuluaga hadn't been able to fix his mishap.
The dish, named "Process," although a good idea according to Belén, failed due to its execution. The poor execution of the process led Jorge Rausch to warn the young man that he should study harder, a warning that dismayed him and ended with him being punished with the black apron.

After Julián, the couple who took the lead was Valentina Taguado and Mario Alberto Yepes with their dish "La Chilindrina Si Le Hecho A Gol a Yepes " (The Chilindrina Did It for Yepes), which, after being praised for its cooking process, earned awards from all three judges and chefs. For this reason, the couple ultimately won the immunity pin.
