Photographer Pablo Grillo will undergo another operation. It's worth remembering that the photojournalist was hit by a Gendarmerie tear gas canister during a march in support of pensioners. According to his family and friends on social media, the reporter will need surgery soon .
“After the fistulas, through which he was losing CSF (cerebrospinal fluid), were controlled, a case of hydrocephalus was discovered as a result of the trauma,” they reported in a publication by X. In addition, they asked for prayers for him: “Sending all the love and positive energies so that Pablo can continue fighting.”

The photographer was seriously injured on March 12 during a federal forces operation during a demonstration in support of retirees. There, Pablo Grillo stood behind some burned furniture to take a photo and was hit by a tear gas canister fired by a Gendarmerie officer.
After spending 55 days in intensive care, Grillo temporarily left the ward on May 8. In a photo shared on social media, he could be seen with his father Fabián on one of the balconies of the Ramos Mejía Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
