Being crowned and earning the title of best chef is no easy task. In 2022, actor Ramiro Meneses fulfilled a dream: winning that year's season of 'MasterChef Celebrity.'
At the end of the competition, Meneses emerged with great ambition and a desire to continue his career in the culinary world. He won the $200 million prize.
Recently, he revealed that he's using the money he earned to open a restaurant. This idea came about after spending time in New York and was inspired by a popular food: the hot dog.

Thus, the idea of opening a fast food restaurant in downtown Bogotá was born. Their proposal was far from conventional: it included ingredients like seafood, sushi, lobster, and shrimp.
Host Jorge Barón explained the reasons behind the failure of his business. In conversations with the actor, he revealed the reason that led him to close his establishment.
According to Barón, the high cost of this food wasn't well received. It was thought that because it was a hot dog, its price would be lower.

Meneses admitted that the types of ingredients used were different, and for this reason, the product's value was different. "Lobster is expensive, and people think they're paying a lot, so when it comes to a hot dog, since it's a hot dog, it has to cost less than 20,000 pesos," he said at the time.
This food had a value of 40 thousand pesos , something that ended up alienating consumers and caused the failure of this idea.

Despite this, today he reflects: "Shoemaker, stick to your last." This message refers to the fact that, at this moment, he is focused on what he does best: acting and directing.
Currently, he is involved in new theater projects and remains focused on continuing to grow.
