Young woman got a job and was fired four hours later: 'They called me to tell me they didn't need me anymore'

Through the TikTok platform, a user known as Paula Agudelo shared a video on her personal account to describe the unusual moment she experienced when she landed her first job and was fired four hours later.
According to the young woman's post, one day after graduating from university, someone close to her contacted her via WhatsApp to request her resume in order to recommend her to his boss.
"I had gotten a better job and was leaving my position at the company, and I thought I might be a good fit," the woman said at the beginning of the clip, emphasizing that she accepted the offer to gain work experience.

According to Agudelo, the company would review her resume and receive a response after a week of waiting. "I waited patiently and with all the faith in the world," the user added during the interview.
When the time stipulated by the company finally arrived, they contacted her and told her to report to the location, as they were interested in conducting an interview to learn more about her career path.
Excited by the news, the young woman attended the scheduled appointment, believing that having been recommended gave her a better chance of getting the job. Once she met with the company's staff, they confirmed the vacancy was hers , giving her a tour of the facilities and introducing her to her colleagues.

Now that the selection process for the position had ended and the company's responsibilities were announced, the woman headed home to tell her loved ones and prepare for the next day.
"All I could think was: I finally got a job, and it was in the same field I studied," Agudelo emphasized during her story time. She decided to write to the person who recommended her to thank them for their support and trust.

Although her acquaintance wished her luck in her new job in the exchange of messages, hours later the young woman received a WhatsApp call from the company , in which they asked her some questions about the paperwork she needed to send.
They asked me, "Have you spoken to the person who recommended you?" To this, Agudelo explained that the person who had requested her resume wanted to return to her current position, so it wasn't possible for her to continue working for the company, as her acquaintance had more experience and seniority.
At the end, the user emphasized that this experience made her feel ill for several days and clarified that she accepted the offer, even though it wasn't a formal job, because she had been looking for an opportunity for a long time.
