Google will challenge its conviction for illegal practices with Chrome

San Francisco, Google announced it will challenge its conviction for anticompetitive practices in online search, after opposing the sale of its Chrome web browser, as recommended by the U.S. government. The Department of Justice is advocating for sanctions that could radically change the digital landscape: the sale of Chrome and a ban on signing exclusivity agreements with smartphone manufacturers to install its default search engine.
