Indexa Capital has launched a new investment vehicle. The independent portfolio manager has unveiled its second fund of funds, Indexa RV Internacional FI , which invests in a portfolio of equity ETFs with global coverage, similar to the equity component of its first fund of funds, Indexa RV Mix Internacional 75, launched six years ago.
The portfolio manager seeks to repeat the success of the Indexa RV mixta internacional 75, one of the most profitable in its category, with sustained volume growth of more than 30% in 2024.
"The first fund of funds launched by Indexa Capital in 2019 had 970 shareholders and €17 million under management at the end of April, allowing us to take the next step in our strategy of offering funds of funds with global diversification and low costs," said Carlota Corral, Investment Director of Indexa Capital.
The current portfolio consists of nine global equity ETFs, with exposure to the United States, Europe, emerging markets, Japan, and the Pacific ex-Japan.
"The biggest advantage of our global equity fund of funds compared to a fund indexed on a global index, such as the MSCI All Countries, is that the strategic allocation takes into account the tax status of European investors when defining the weights of the different regions, slightly reducing the weight in the United States to mitigate the effect of double taxation on dividends from US stocks," notes Carlota Corral.
The estimated total costs are initially set at 0.685%, with a projected reduction to 0.535% starting in the third year, in line with the fund's expected growth. This reduction is supported by a transparent cost structure and economies of scale. Indexa shareholders have committed to investing more than €1 million in the new fund, with the goal of reaching the necessary size to reduce costs and be aligned with the fund's shareholders.
The fund has a minimum investment of 10 euros and is available through Renta 4 Banco and other marketers operating through the Inversis platform. It is especially aimed at investors with less than 2,000 euros, non-residents of countries where Indexa offers accounts, legal entities, or those seeking a 100% equity investment without discretionary portfolio management.
