More than 100 Colombian doctors are nominated for the Doctoralia Awards 2025.

Doctoralia, the country's medical scheduling and management platform and a world leader in virtual patient care, presented this year the sixth edition of the Doctoralia Awards, recognizing healthcare professionals in the digital world in Colombia.

This year, more than 100 specialists have been nominated. In total, there will be three winners in each of the eight categories, so 24 physicians will be recognized in recognition of their positive impact on the lives of thousands of patients.

The eight categories include areas such as "Primary Care and General Medicine" and "Mental Health," created to honor professionals whose careers, commitment, and significant contributions have left their mark on the health sector.

The nominees also stood out for the trust they inspire in their patients and their active participation in digital medical guidance spaces.

This year's awards will feature an important innovation. The official presentation will take place within the framework of Doctoralia Connect 2025, the annual event that brings together key voices in the healthcare sector and will be held on August 26 in Bogotá. For the first time, the winners will be able to receive their recognition in person alongside their colleagues and experts in the medical field.

To select the nominees, Doctoralia conducted a detailed analysis of each professional's performance within its platform over the past year, taking into account two main factors: the quantity and quality of patient reviews received, and their level of participation in the "Ask the Expert" section, where doctors share their knowledge to address open questions from the public.

This evaluation identified the 15 specialists with the best results in each specialty. They will now compete for first, second, and third place through a vote chosen by their fellow physicians.

In turn, honorary distinctions will be awarded to professionals who, although not part of the competitive process, have demonstrated outstanding clinical career, impact, and dedication.

Recognizing those who care is also a way to protect the future of our healthcare system," the platform stated.
