“The most important priorities: number one, the fastest growing area is security. The second fastest growing area is attention to missing persons and the budget for the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences. We will also continue with the renovation of Jalisco's highways in terms of infrastructure, and expand the educational model, which is what we are presenting with music classrooms, virtual classrooms, and the renovation of all schools in Jalisco,” he stated.

“And, of course, to increase resources to boost the supply of medicines in the health network. Those are the priorities we submitted,” he stated.

“I am sure that we will build a harmonious dialogue, as happened last year, in order to produce a budget that will serve and help the people of Jalisco,” he said.
“I am sure that the members of the state legislature are seeking the same thing as we are: that people can live better, and I am sure that we will find a path of dialogue to achieve majority approval in Congress,” Lemus Navarro added.
Although budget approval requires a simple majority, that is, the vote of half of the local legislators plus one (34+1), The state governor indicated that his goal is to obtain broader support, as this is a budget that benefits the key areas already mentioned. “I hope to have an absolute majority for its approval,” he concluded.
