Attention: A woman allegedly involved in the attack on Miguel Uribe Turbay has been arrested in Caquetá.

Investigations are progressing to find those responsible for the attack on Senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay on June 7 in the Modelia sector of the town of Fontibón, where he was shot three times.
On the day of the incident, authorities captured the hitman who repeatedly shot the senator, leaving him seriously injured. He is currently in the intensive care unit at the Santa Fe Foundation clinic.
Police sources confirmed the arrest of a woman in Caquetá , who is allegedly linked to the attack on Miguel Uribe.
The woman was arrested in the city of Florencia, the department's capital, and is wanted by order of Bogotá's 41st Municipal Criminal Court. She will be transferred to the Colombian capital in the coming hours.
Police are expected to provide more details on the morning of Sunday, June 15.
Preliminary reports also indicate that the detainee is being investigated by the specialized Prosecutor's Office of the Life Unit in Bogotá, one of the units in charge of the investigation to determine the whereabouts of all those implicated in the attack on Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay.
The capture of this woman, whose identity has not been confirmed, is the third arrest related to the investigation into the attack on senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay.
Caracol News reported that the woman is the person seen in one of the security camera videos in the area getting out of a dark gray vehicle and allegedly handing the gun to the minor. This identification was allegedly made possible thanks to the driver of the motorcycle that took the minor, who provided a statement.
