Trump Mobile: President Donald Trump launched his own brand of mobile phones that will be manufactured in the United States.

The business group led by the children of US President Donald Trump announced this Monday the creation of a new telephone service called Trump Mobile that will include its own device in the future, a move that cements the expansion of the Republican family's businesses in the telecommunications sector.
Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. introduced Trump Mobile as " a new and transformational cellular service , designed to deliver top-tier connectivity and unmatched value," designed for "the working people" of America, according to a statement from the Trump Organization.
The new offering will open with Plan 47, priced at $47.45, in an apparent reference to the New Yorker's two terms, elected as the 45th and 47th president of the United States.

The new service's website also announces the upcoming launch of the T1, " a sleek, gold-plated smartphone " designed and manufactured in the U.S., priced at $499 and running the Android operating system.
"I'm incredibly excited to be entering this new digital space. (...) We're especially proud to offer free long-distance calling to our military and their families, as those serving overseas need to be able to always stay connected to their loved ones back home," said Donald Jr., the president's eldest son.
As he announced, the product package "will allow people to access telemedicine services on their phone for a flat monthly fee, roadside assistance in their cars, and unlimited text messaging to 100 countries around the world."

The Trump Organization's new venture represents a new business direction for President Trump's children, who until now have focused on real estate and cryptocurrency businesses.
“A lot of what we've done has been focused on technology for people with limited access, whether it's cryptocurrency or anything else, but one of the areas where we saw mediocre performance was in the mobile industry,” Donald Jr. warned during the event announcing the new service.
