Güler and Mbappé accelerate towards the Clásico, Madrid suffers against Celta, and Montjuic will decide the La Liga title.

La Liga remains on four points before the Montjuic derby thanks to Arda Güler, Kylian Mbappé... and Thibaut Courtois . The Turk, who didn't play a single minute in the Champions League tie against Arsenal, shone against Celta Vigo, opening the scoring with a superb goal and once again being Madrid's beacon of hope at this stage of the season, with the team in a state of mental distress. The Frenchman scored twice and the Belgian saved his team in the final stretch, where Los Blancos suffered thanks to two goals from the Galicians, but they remain in the shadow of Barça seven days before the derby.

With a defense from between the wars, Carlo Ancelotti played it safe. He dropped Tchouaméni and paired him with the only three healthy first-team defenders: Lucas, Asencio, and Fran. From that point on, this end of the Real Madrid season seems to make one thing clear: the team is Arda Güler and ten others. The Turkish player, who already scored at Getafe, has taken over Madrid's midfield and has taken off when the Italian coach let him. He's the only one capable of mixing lines in Carletto's 4-4-2, has vision, composure on the ball, and an extraordinary shot, as he demonstrated against Celta Vigo.

And the 2-0 halftime lead was somewhat deceptive. Claudio Giráldez's side were brave with the ball and tested Courtois on several occasions, but the Belgian flew to save his teammates.

Within five minutes, Marcos Alonso had already racked up two clear chances from two crosses. One header went high and another forced Courtois to stretch to prevent a 1-0 lead, all to the roar of the Bernabéu.

Madrid, slow with the ball, which is no coincidence, felt more comfortable on the counterattack, creating space. This is how their best chances came, almost always from the feet of an inconsistent Vinicius, who was capable of breaking Celta's defensive lines.

At times, the Whites lacked a bit more intensity, as if the league title weren't at stake. Ancelotti, calm, asked Ceballos to move the team more with the ball. And then, half an hour in, the goal. The great goal.

Güler took a corner, leaned on Lucas, who returned it, and from the edge of the box, the Turkish player unleashed a left-footed shot that found Guaita's top corner. Madrid, without any play, found the reward thanks to the individual talent of a player who has struggled to get playing time this season, but who has been saving their La Liga title fight in recent days.

The goal struck a Celta side that was aware of the chances it had missed, and five minutes later, they suffered another blow. Once again, Courtois took center stage.

Borja Iglesias received the ball in space, shot, and it bounced off a defender, sending Courtois flying again, who saved. On that same counterattack, Madrid executed their opponent. Vinicius, Bellingham, and a long ball to Mbappé, who accelerated to the edge of the box and fired a rocket into Guaita's top corner.

After the break, the script remained the same. Madrid comfortably passed the ball to Celta and waited for the young Vigo team to make a mistake. And it came early. In the 47th minute, Güler received the ball in midfield, had time to think, and saw Mbappé break into space, between the two Galician center backs. He swung diagonally into the gap and the Frenchman calmly finished to move within one goal of Lewandowski in the race for the Pichichi.

Celta kept possession, but increased their own errors too much. Unnecessary losses that Madrid converted into space for their greatest pleasure: running vertically towards goal. That's what Bellingham did in the 55th minute, after an extraordinary run and a shot that went over, and Güler, the following minute, combining with Mbappé to set up Guaita to save the fourth.

Madrid enjoyed themselves and relaxed, while Celta kept their cool. Giráldez's team, who are fighting for Europe this year, scored the first goal from a corner and went one up after an extraordinary pass from Aspas, who had just come on, to Swedberg. With 15 long minutes remaining, the Whites missed several counterattacks against Guaita, and Aspas had the equalizer in the 87th minute.
