Saraperos win 12-4 and avoid a sweep against the Steelers in Game 3

After two consecutive losses in the series, Saraperos de Saltillo reacted with a forceful offensive and defeated the Acereros de Monclova 12-4 in the third and final game played at the Monclova Stadium .
From the second inning, Saltillo took control of the game. A triple by Carlos Martínez drove in the first two runs on spikes by Missael Rivera and José Peraza . Then, a single by Alex Mejía brought Martínez to the plate, and later Brandon Villarreal drove in JP Martínez to make the score 4-0.

The Steelers narrowed the gap in the bottom of the third with a two-run homer by Kennys Vargas (2-4). However, the Saraperos maintained their offensive momentum in the fourth and fifth innings. Rivera hit a two-run double and scored on a double play groundout to extend the lead to 8-3.
In the seventh, Saltillo struck again. Keven Lamas drove in two runs with a single, and then Alex Mejía drove in another run with another hit (11-3). In the eighth, Carlos Martínez hit an RBI single that brought in the twelfth run. The Steelers could only respond with one more in the bottom half with a sacrifice fly by Jhonny Santos (12-4).
With this result, Saraperos avoided a sweep and closed out the series with a victory that ended their losing streak.
