What a great race we had in Hungary! We're heading into the summer break with a great taste in our mouths from the competition! McLaren's dominance continues, with Norris closing in on Piastri for the overall lead! Leclerc misses out on the podium again, and Aston Martin seems to have found the recipe for improvement. Verstappen finished in 9th place, with Antonelli in 10th. Lewis Hamilton finished 12th, and Sainz finished 14th. Only Bearman retired.

Another podium for George Russell, making it 21 for the British driver. This is the Mercedes driver's sixth podium finish in 2025, and only in 2022 (8) has he achieved more.

McLaren's 56th one-two finish, its 7th of the season and its 4th in a row. It is also McLaren's 200th victory in the competition. It is the 11th time a team has achieved four consecutive one-two finishes, the first since Mercedes in 2019 (5 between Australia and Spain).

Charles Leclerc has another pole position without a win, making it 22 in his career. He has not won in 81.5% of his Formula 1 pole positions.

Lando Norris's ninth Formula 1 victory, which puts him level with Mark Webber for 36th place among drivers with the most wins in the competition. A great race for tire management.

Oscar Piastri (McLaren) was the winner of the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. It was the first of his seven victories in Formula 1. In addition to having the opportunity to repeat victory in the same Grand Prix for the first time, he could be the first McLaren driver to achieve two consecutive victories at the Hungaroring since Mika Hakkinen in the 1999 and 2000 editions, something that Ayrton Senna also achieved in 1991 and 1992.

The Hungaroring circuit will host a Formula 1 race for the 40th time, being the 8th track to reach 40 races in the entire history of the competition after Monza (75 including the 2025 race), Monaco (71), Silverstone (60), Spa-Francorchamps (58), Montreal (44), Interlagos (42 including the 2025 race) and Nürburgring (41).
