The minor who insulted Lamine Yamal at the Bernabéu has been banned from matches and social events.

The minor who insulted Lamine Yamal at the Bernabéu has been banned from matches and social events.

The minor identified as one of the perpetrators of the racist insults directed at Barcelona player Lamine Yamal during the Clásico played at the Santiago Bernabéu on October 26, 2024, admitted to the crime and accepted a 30-hour period of socio-educational homework, as well as a one-year ban from attending official matches.

LaLiga , which expressly requested that the perpetrator of the insults be barred from any stadium hosting official football competitions for twelve months, confirmed these decisions on Tuesday, which are a result of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office's investigation into the incidents.

"With this action, LaLiga reiterates its firm commitment to the fight against racism and any manifestation of hate in football," the organization stated.

The minor also expressly apologized in writing to the Barça player.
