When is the Travel Sale 2025? Discounted travel, financing, and an important key to taking advantage of the deals.

Travel Sale 2025 has officially launched: it will run from Monday, August 25th to Sunday, August 31st . A week in which more than 100 travel agencies will offer special promotions and packages , with discounts ranging from 10% to 40% , the option to pay in installments , and more.
Organized by the Argentine Federation of Travel Business Associations (FAEVYT ), the presentation of Travel Sale 2025 was attended by the Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli; Andrés Deyá, president of FAEVYT; the president of the Buenos Aires City Tourism Board and the Federal Tourism Council, Valentín Díaz Gilligan; and the Travel Sale coordinator and FAEVYT member, Martín Romano.
" Travel Sale continues to grow year after year , consolidating itself as a strategic initiative that allows more people to plan and complete their trips with exclusive benefits and the support of Argentine travel agencies," said Martín Romano, Travel Sale spokesperson.
For his part, Andrés Deyá noted that "it's a key action to boost demand, boost tourism, enhance the low season in Argentina , and offer travel alternatives."

That's why the sales campaign was scheduled for after the winter holidays, to boost travel sales in the slower months leading up to summer.
While the offers and promotions won't be revealed until the action kicks off, Romano gave us a sneak peek at something to keep an eye out for.
"Given this context, it will be a super opportunity to travel around Argentina , and several provinces are supporting the Travel Sale as sponsors."
Specifically, the province of Neuquén is confirmed as the Main Sponsor Destination, while Salta, Jujuy and Catamarca , along with Europ Assistance , accompany as sponsor destinations.

If you're thinking about purchasing travel during this week of promotions, it's important to keep a few things in mind:
- Get an idea of prices
Essential to take advantage of the 2025 Travel Sale . As with any sales and promotional campaign, it's not enough to simply blindly trust a rate with a sign that says "50% off."
If you don't know the usual (or pre-promotional) price of a ticket to a certain destination, a package, or a service with certain features, it's not easy to tell if you're looking at a good deal.

The good news is that the Travel Sale is just a month away, giving you a chance to start reviewing how much your planned trip will cost.
- Flexibility to choose dates (and destinations too)
This applies to Travel Sale and any price search. The more you can accommodate, the easier it will be to get better rates .
It's important to keep in mind that the Travel Sale is designed to boost the off-season. This means there may be more attractive travel deals outside of peak season.
In any case, the organization said that some offers for summer vacation travel are sure to appear.
Beyond this clarification, sometimes it's enough to change the departure or arrival date by one day to find better fares.
While there's still time—and especially if you're planning to travel abroad—take a minute and check the expiration dates on your travel documents.

It is also a good idea to check the limits of the cards you will use to pay beforehand.
At these types of events, some agencies offer limited-time offers , and if you realize you need to expand your limits at that point, you might miss out on the opportunity to buy.
- Be careful with the fine print and the conditions
Control anxiety and carefully review what you are buying .
For example, verifying that the dates are correct and that the product is the one we are looking for.

When purchasing airline tickets, pay attention to what type of baggage is included in the fare, the departure and return airports , whether the flights have stopovers , change policies, and other issues.
And in the case of hotels , for example, what type of services, where they are located and what type of room is being booked,
If we're talking about packages , check if they include transfers to and from the airport, excursions, meal plans, etc.
