Noisiel (77) – A trainee from the National School of Public Finance stabbed in the throat in the street yesterday evening (Update: a Romanian arrested)

According to a press release from the City of Noisiel , a young woman from Sarthe , on an internship at the National School of Public Finance, was stabbed twice in the throat on Thursday evening on Cours des Roches by a man described as unbalanced . The victim, who had been in the town for a month, was rushed to Jossigny hospital .

Mayor Mathieu Viskovic , accompanied by two elected officials, visited the scene shortly after the incident to support the emergency services and express their solidarity. He praised the rapid response of the firefighters, police and medical staff , as well as the courage of another trainee named Clément who intervened to provide assistance.

An investigation is underway to determine the precise circumstances of this attack, which has been described as “extreme violence.” No further information has been given on the victim’s condition at this stage.
