Reichstett. A venue, outings, and parties: a lively summer for teens

In Reichstett, July began with the first registrants furnishing, decorating, and moving into a small house attached to the leisure center and its shared garden. Léo Heupel, the youth leader, taught them the basics of painting and crafts, and little by little, the space took shape. "We're creating a space for projects and freedom," explains the leader. "The goal for the young people is to find a place, share activities, and organize outings together in a good atmosphere."
“Evenings are even better.”Today's handymen, Osman, Marley, Amélia, Bérat, Césario, Léa, and Alban, wield saws and hammer nails to build a billboard. They meet up in the summer for one, two, or more days, for pancake parties, trips to the lake, tournaments, or simply to chat and laugh in a space made just for them.
Alban comes to the shop almost every day: "I like it when we're all together for a video game, a game of table football or a board game, and the evenings are even better. We decorated the walls of the shop together and it's really beautiful work. Now we know how to use paintbrushes, a saw and a hammer!"
After the summer and the return to school, the host already has plans for Wednesdays and after-school activities, to extend the energy and momentum of summer. But until then, activities and outings continue until August 15!
From July 7 to August 15, registration required. Contact: Léo Heupel, 06 66 07 90 86 or animationjeunesse. [email protected] The program is available at the town hall, the media library, the youth center and on the Facebook page.
