Starting this Wednesday, the Printemps du dessin is coming to Le Corbusier in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

Lovers of sketching and modern architecture will be delighted. For the 8th edition of Printemps du Dessin, which kicked off on March 20, Cap Moderne is organizing a new kind of tour of its sites, featuring Roquebrune-based artist Gérard Haton Gauthier.

The national event aims to celebrate contemporary drawing throughout France until June 21. This year, 24 national monuments are participating, including the E1027 Eileen Gray villa and the Le Corbusier site located in the commune of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

Visitors, accompanied by a guide and the visual artist, discover this iconic site through its history, architectural details, and landscape. Through stories and drawing techniques, they create a sketchbook or a work of art inspired by this immersion.

Still places available

This workshop, open to all, invites visitors to take a fresh look at the architectural ensemble, integrated into its surroundings, its exceptional vegetation, and its breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. Reservations required.

There are still places available for the painting tour and workshop, today at 3:15 p.m. at the Eileen Gray Villa. As well as for the drawing tours organized on June 11 and 14 at Le Corbusier's home.

No need to bring your own equipment. A pencil and notebook will be provided at the entrance. However, advance reservations are required.
