War in Ukraine: Russian attacks leave one dead and two injured in the Kherson region

According to the regional military administration, "guided bombs hit a residential building," injuring another man, aged 34, who was at home. Meanwhile, in the Korabelny district, a nighttime Russian bombing injured a woman in her 70s, who was treated by emergency services, the Kherson municipality reported on Telegram.

Ukrainian cities are being targeted daily by Russian strikes, while Russian troops have been gaining ground for weeks in the Sumy region (northeastern Ukraine).

Diplomatically, talks are at an impasse , despite pressure from the United States. Moscow is demanding that Kiev cede four entire regions (Kherson, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhia), in addition to annexed Crimea, demands that Ukraine considers unacceptable.
