101 vehicles checked in Agenais, where a man injured himself with his firearm in Astaffort

The gendarmes were active this Saturday, July 12 in Agenais

In jargon, this is called a traffic control operation. The gendarmes of the Agen company carried out one on July 13, between midnight and 3 a.m. A total of 101 vehicles and people were subjected to screening tests by the 16 soldiers involved. Ten infractions were recorded, including a refusal to comply and a positive blood alcohol level for a young driver.

Elsewhere, still in the Agenais region, and more specifically near Astaffort, police and emergency services were called to the bedside of an 84-year-old man who accidentally injured his hand while handling his firearm. The victim was hospitalized.
