La Réole: Alexis Ordas, from DJ to creator of his own web radio

Known as a DJ and educational assistant, Alexis Ordas is embarking on a new adventure by creating his own web radio, Mixting Radio, with the support of his team and local festivals like Firefest
Alexis Ordas is already known as a DJ with his own sound system: Hits Fun, and as an educational assistant at Paul-Esquinance Middle School. His performances as a DJ have given him a small but steadily growing reputation. Between birthdays, retirements, end-of-year balls, festival committee evenings, Telethon… He hosts these numerous events with brilliance and confidence. But he has decided to add another string to his bow by creating his own web radio. Alexis is behind his microphone and in addition to playing music, he makes announcements and advertises numerous events…
Why try the web radio adventure?
I'm getting into radio because it's linked to my first passion, which is sound systems and being a DJ. Being behind a microphone on the radio, hosting and entertaining, is a bit like being behind my turntable. I try to bring happiness to people.
How does this web radio work?
You should know that I collaborate with a friend, Medhi, who lives in Paris and who has his own radio station: MZ Radio. I joined his team as a community manager where I am responsible for feeding social networks and proposing content on them. I was lucky enough to have a show on Sunday evenings with music, news, information, dedications, surprises and games. I learned little by little but it is so enriching. My radio is now operational and I continue to learn.
If it works, why take the risk of creating your own web radio?
I love challenges, and I wanted to try this adventure to get to grips with the process, find a name: Mixting Radio, the costs involved, and have my own radio station. I even recruited a team and started my broadcasts. I collaborate with festivals like Firefest in La Réole. Today, I'm featured on leading sites like Radio en ligne.
