Saint-Rémy. The blood drive has reached its target.

Welcomed by members of the Montbard voluntary blood donation association and served with a few sweets, the donors settle in in a friendly atmosphere. Noémie Le Caro is a nursing assistant at the Châtillon-sur-Seine hospital.
She became a donor in 2017 and knows the issues well: "If one day I need blood during childbirth, I would be happy to receive some."
Mattéo Toulouze is a 20-year-old man who is giving blood for the first time. During the 7 to 12-minute collection, he confides: "My girlfriend is going to the EFS (French Blood Establishment) in Strasbourg at the start of the school year, so I decided to register on the website." The goal of 68 blood donations was reached, knowing that the president of the association, César Roman, saw it as slightly below: "In Montbard, people who don't have a vehicle can come, whereas here it's more difficult." The challenge is to maintain this good result during the next collection in Montbard, which will take place on September 17, and to raise awareness of the shuttles that go from Montbard to the Maison du Don in Dijon to donate plasma.
