Burgundy Franche-Comté. The regional audit office is diversifying its investigations and audits to ensure the proper use of public funds.

The regional audit office (CRC) of Bourgogne Franche-Comté has just published its 2024 activity report. This is an opportunity to discuss some of the high-profile issues, but also to recall its mission to "continuously improve public management."
"The year 2024 was marked both by a strong diversification of investigation and control work and by the rise of the new system of responsibility for public managers," says Emmanuel Roux , president of the CRC of Bourgogne Franche-Comté, commenting on the 2024 activity report of his jurisdiction.
Responsible for monitoring the proper management of 5,702 organizations, the CRC last year produced 66 observation reports, issued 11 budgetary audit opinions and made 52 recommendations, 94% of which were implemented, in whole or in part. This was all while participating in around fifty investigations and reports .
