Cannes Mayor David Lisnard launches national consultation on bureaucracy

Cannes Mayor David Lisnard launches national consultation on bureaucracy

It's one of his favorite themes: bureaucracy, the scourge that, in his eyes, complicates the lives of our fellow citizens and stifles entrepreneurial spirit. David Lisnard, who intends to make his voice heard in the run-up to the 2027 presidential election, has decided to call on the French people to witness. Nouvelle Énergie, the party he chairs, is launching a national consultation on the subject.

"Establish an accurate diagnosis"

With this " unprecedented approach, both in its format and its scale" , the mayor of Cannes and president of the Association of Mayors of France intends to "collect en masse the views of the French people on the administrative blockages they experience on a daily basis and on the solutions they are waiting for".

This "major survey" will be conducted both online, via a simple questionnaire, and on the ground through "hundreds of field operations carried out in the coming months, in the streets, in markets, in front of train stations" by New Energy activists.

This consultation "aims to establish a precise diagnosis, based on lived realities, far from caricatures or simplistic interpretations." A public restitution will be organized next spring. " Behind every absurd approach, every incomprehensible standard, there is a hindered energy, a discouraged citizen, a slowed down business," believes David Lisnard. "We want to build a state that acts and allows action, that protects without hindering, that controls without stifling. This consultation is a key step in this fight."
