Olivier Marleix, the LR MP for Eure-et-Loir, died on Monday, July 7. The former president of the LR group in the National Assembly was 54 years old.

Olivier Marleix, the LR MP for Eure-et-Loir, died at the age of 54, BFMTV learned from concordant sources on Monday, July 7.

Guillaume Kasbarian, also a member of parliament for Eure-et-Loir, praised him as a "man of conviction" and a "passionate defender of national sovereignty."
