The Guadalupe River's sudden flooding surprised Texans in Kerr County, killing nearly sixty people overnight Friday to Saturday. Among the victims were many young girls staying at a summer camp. Climate change and human unpreparedness combined to cause this disaster that has plunged the entire country into mourning.
