AS Monaco Women's Football announced on its social media the start of a new era with a strategic investment, reaffirming its commitment to the development of women's sport and the promotion of football at all levels. As part of this initiative, DCB Sports, through Gary Ladrido [pictured with former professional footballer Bernard Mendy], will dedicate a growing budget over the next 10 years to support the ASMFF, with the aim of strengthening the training of young players and coaches, improving infrastructure and training conditions, promoting the visibility of women's football in the media, while supporting the professionalization of clubs and athletes.
"Women's football carries the values of surpassing oneself, solidarity and excellence. This investment is part of a desire to contribute concretely to its development, at the local, national and international levels," declared the main interested party. This partnership marks a new step in the promotion of women's sport, and responds to a growing public demand for a more inclusive and diversified sporting offer.
Arkema Premier League's objective in a few yearsAndré-Pierre Couffet, president of the ASMFF, also spoke on this subject: "This investment is part of a national development policy. The club's management shares the same conviction: Monegasque women's sport can be a vector for an ambitious project in France and Europe. The club wishes to take up the challenge with determination and carry this influence into a wider project, to help women win on the field of sport and elsewhere, for a remarkable spotlight on women's performance."
From a purely sporting perspective, the ambition is clear: to move up to the Arkema Premier League within the next four or five years. Last season, the team's promotion to the third division was finally secured. There is a desire to stabilize the model and infrastructure. And to bring in new foreign investors via DCB Sports.
