While a departure seemed inevitable, Evann Guessand's future destination is now known.
Last season's top scorer for Nice (12 goals, 9 assists) will continue his career at Aston Villa. The two clubs have agreed on a transfer estimated at €35 million including bonuses, which would include a percentage of the resale.
The Ivorian striker is due to undergo his medical examination this Wednesday.
He became the biggest sale of a player trained at the club.
