Passionate about rugby, this young teenager launched a petition to install posts on a pitch in La Môle, it was inaugurated this Friday

It was a party, late Friday afternoon in La Mole, on the occasion of the inauguration of the rugby field . Installed in the center of the nature base, we owe it exclusively to Maxime Guyot, a little Molois passionate about rugby and who, at the height of his 9 years, knew how to follow his passion to the end. The inauguration took place in the presence of the mayors of La Mole (Sophie Bardollet), Gassin (Anne-Marie Waniart) and Plan-de-la-Tour (Laurent Giubergia), the deputy Philippe Lottiaux, as well as numerous association leaders and parents.
Maxime's story is a love affair with rugby that began at the age of four. Chance quickly led him to the RC Toulon Association, where he joined and trained fervently. He lives, breathes, and watches replays of every Top 14 match on repeat. His dedication is such that he even had the incredible opportunity to accompany the captain of the Italian team onto the pitch during a World Cup match in 2023. An unforgettable memory for him.
And it was precisely at the La Mole nature base, his favorite playground outside of training, that Maxime had a revelation. According to him, this vast space was missing an essential element for his passion for rugby to fully flourish: rugby posts!
Many supportersWithout further ado, he decided to take action. Armed with a petition and a lot of courage, he went door-to-door, explaining his project and garnering a lot of support.
The culmination of this adventure took place on April 14. Bolstered by his courage and the large number of signatures collected, Maxime appeared before the municipal council. Facing the elected officials, along with his mother, he presented his request with astonishing maturity. He was listened to with great kindness, and his plea bore fruit: the poles were officially ordered by the municipality!
"I am delighted to inaugurate this facility in the presence of Maxime, without whom none of this would have been possible and who had the courage to create a petition that gathered 200 signatures and who came to present his project to the municipal council. From now on, we have, a priori, the first open-access rugby pitch in the department," Sophie Bardollet declared on Friday.
A great reward for Maxime who hopes one day to imitate his idols, including a certain Baptiste Serin who plays in the same position as him!
