Regional 3: Marnaval wins the derby against Eclaron

Regional 3: Marnaval wins the derby against Eclaron

Marnaval “2” beats Eclaron 2-1

Eclaron. The Eclaronnais were beaten on their home turf on Sunday afternoon in the derby against the Sporting Marnaval Club reserve team, the undisputed bête noire of the USE. The Marnavalais started the match better and opened the scoring in the quarter of an hour of play on their first real opportunity by exploiting a loss of the ball by Julian Legros (0-1).

The game was balanced and the visitors, led by the experienced and former Eclaronnais Arnaud Pécheux and Anthony Henrionnet, managed well until the break.

After the break, two minutes were enough for Frédéric Tisset's charges to double the lead through Randy Ragot with a right-footed cross shot that ended up in Axel Dubreuil's side netting, highlighting the Eclaron defensive errors (0-2, 47').

Didier Boulant's men, messy in the game, reacted timidly with a cross from Nohé Cinelli headed wide by Kader Konaté (60').

In the 68th minute, Cédric Daujard tried his luck, but Dylan Alexander was on his guard. In the 86th minute, Cédric Daujard was sent off for foul play.

Down by one man, Maxime Aubertin's teammates pushed and reduced the score in the 89th minute, with a direct free kick from Jordan Kost (1-2). In stoppage time, the Eclaronnais even had the opportunity to equalize, but Mahamadou Diakhité's shot grazed the post (90'+4'). Marnaval once again proved that he knows how to play and win derbies against his neighbors.

Vaux-sur-Blaise and Saint-Max/Essey 3-3 Vaux-sur-Blaise. The visitors started the match by dominating the ball and it took a vigilant Mathéo Cotteret to prevent the visitors from opening the scoring. After fifteen minutes of play, Eric Gauthier, seeing the Nancy goalkeeper advancing, tried a shot from distance, but the ball went just wide of the right post. In the 25th minute, Le Bon opened the scoring for the visitors by winning his duel (0-1). In the 30th minute, Mathéo Cotteret pushed a ball away after a powerful shot, but his defender wanted to give it back to him and scored the second goal for the visitors (0-2). The “violets” had a hard time finding themselves against a team that played in R2 last season and, logically, from a penalty, they increased the score through Gassarra just before the break (0-3). Romain Delplanque whistles half-time with this score. Coming back from the locker room, the "violets" put on the pressure and Jordan Bernhard reduced the score (1-3, 50'). The game is balanced and both teams play good football. In the 70', Maxime Pietrement, the designated penalty taker, does not need to be asked twice to put the guys from Blaise back on the right track by successfully saving his penalty and bringing the score back to 2-3. In the final moment, Jordan Bernhard equalizes royally (3-3).

The "violets" could even have won in injury time, but the unexpected draw at half-time was more than enough for Jérémy Jacquot and Freddy Pierrot's players.

Sarrey/Montigny beats Gondrevilley 4-0

Montigny. The locals were worried about the arrival of the Nancy suburban team, but they made the match easy for themselves by attacking the opposing goal from the start. In the 5th minute, on a free kick from Gaëtan Rolland, the ball was poorly returned by the opposing defense and Damien André was on the receiving end to lob the visiting goalkeeper with a header (1-0). The locals took the upper hand over the Gondrevillais who operated on the counterattack. On one of them the shot is not on target. In the 22nd minute, on a free kick quickly taken by Rémi Chabeuf, Théo crosses, Damien André recovers the ball on the right side, eliminates two players and hits it at the base of the post. The break is made by Gabriel Couturier who intercepts a back pass from a defender for his goalkeeper and eliminates the latter to slip the ball into the back of the net (2-0, 32nd minute). At the restart, the visitors resurface and the game stabilizes, until a masterful strike from Gaëtan Rolland volleyed from 40 m which lobs the advanced visiting goalkeeper (3-0).

The score was closed by a winning header from Maxence Robert who took a cross from Damien André at the far post (4-0).

FC Nogent-sur-Seine beats Andelot/Rimaucourt/Bourdons 4-1

Andelot. The match was enticing and the sun was shining. This promising match attracted a large number of supporters to the Emile-Lemoult municipal stadium, hoping to see the locals record their first victory of the season and defeat the Aubois de Nogent-sur-Seine, a sure bet in the group. The spectators were not disappointed by the performance of the two teams, as the quality of the play was remarkable and the physical commitment of the players generous. The match started with a bang and sharp attacks came from both sides. However, the defenses proved sovereign and annihilated all these counters, even though they were quickly carried out, and if, at the break, the visitors led in the score, it was thanks to a penalty awarded (0-1, 42′). From the restart, in the 49th minute, the Aubois aggravated the score (2-0), but the locals logically reduced the score, in the 55th minute, through Gaëtan Aubry (1-2). The visitors then threw all their forces into the battle and legitimately scored in the 70th and 85th minutes (1-4). This was a defeat which, although honorable, showed the difficulties that await Nicolas Emmanuel's guys in this very tough championship.

Neufchâteau beats Eurville-Bienville 2-0

Neufchâteau. The Eurvillois-Bienvillois, deprived of Benjamin Arnoult and their new recruit Julien Beaumet in midfield, were powerless on Sunday afternoon, losing (2-0) in the Vosges during the first day of Regional 3. The Vosgiens started the game ideally by opening the score quickly (1-0). Neufchâteau continued to push by creating several dangerous situations, but the score at halftime did not change. In the second half, the “black and white” had a much better second half with Anthony Bourbon hitting the crossbar. Neufchâteau nevertheless managed to break away and secure their victory (2-0).
