The great adventure continues for the Cutlers, and the bitter taste of the regional final lost two weeks earlier quickly disappeared this Sunday in Surgères. While the early match allowed the visitors to lead 6-0 on two penalties, the red and blue machine quickly got going. Or rather, started racing, with no fewer than five tries, all converted, scored by the Nontron cavalry in the first half (35-23 at halftime).
