The Rad'Ass are organizing a crazy murder party to introduce Toulon to the roller derby spirit

This Friday, August 22, the Toulon roller derby team invites you to the Bière de la Rade for an evening full of mystery. A unique way to discover this contact sport and, why not, join their ranks in the fall.

Forget Cluedo on a cardboard board and TV evenings, in Toulon, the mystery is solved against a backdrop of hops and passion for skating. This Friday, the Rad'Ass roller derby team invites you to an event as original as it is friendly: a giant "Murder party." The opportunity to meet these determined athletes in a relaxed atmosphere, far from the fervor of the track. The concept is simple and promises a memorable evening: "It's a life-size Cluedo that we imagined on the theme of our sport," explains Lize, the team captain.

Starting at 7 p.m., participants will transform into real detectives. Their mission: to unmask the culprit of a fictional crime by collecting clues and interrogating the suspects... who will be none other than the Rad'Ass players themselves. An initiative that reflects the spirit of this collective. "It's a fun way to come and meet us before the start of the season in September," continues Lize. "Many people are intrigued by roller derby, but don't necessarily dare to step inside the gym. There's no pressure here, just the desire to have a good time and introduce others to our world."

Because behind the helmets, the protections and the roller skates, hides an intense sport, both physical and strategic (read the box). "It's a women's sport of contact and strategy," explains the captain. Attached to the Métropole Glisse club, the Rad'Ass train twice a week in a friendly atmosphere. And the door is wide open to new recruits. "Whether you already know how to skate or not, everyone can come and try it at the start of the school year. We learn everything on site!" assures Lize.
