Attacks and one arrest. Tensions erupt between youths, resulting in a 17-year-old's facial disfigurement.

Another weekend of tensions on our Riviera, between Marina di Ravenna and Milano Marittima . In particular, three serious incidents occurred during the night between Saturday and yesterday.

The most serious incident involved a seventeen-year-old from the Lower Romagna region who, around midnight on Viale della Nazioni in Marina di Ravenna, near the Matilda nightclub, got into an argument with another youth. The youth suddenly picked up a shard of glass and used it as a weapon, slashing the minor's face. Carabinieri from the Ravenna Carabinieri Operations and Radiomobile Unit and paramedics from 118 responded immediately to the scene with an ambulance, transporting the injured boy to the emergency room. The seventeen-year-old was discharged after receiving treatment and a prognosis of several days.

The other incidents occurred in Milano Marittima, between the well-known Pousada Beijaflor and the Pineta nightclub on Viale Romagna. It all began around midnight: 30:30 when Carabinieri officers from Cervia and Milano Marittima were alerted to disturbances inside the first nightclub. Upon arrival, officers detained an 18-year-old second-generation immigrant, a resident of Bologna, who immediately displayed hostile behavior, refusing to provide his personal details and pushing the officers. He was arrested for resisting arrest and is scheduled for trial in Ravenna today. Half an hour later, in front of the Pousada Beijaflor, another second-generation immigrant, a 19-year-old from Reggio Emilia, was attacked by a peer, also apparently second-generation immigrant, although an investigation is ongoing to identify him because he fled and disappeared. The 19-year-old, attempting to escape, fell and sustained an injury that required the intervention of 118 paramedics, who arrived on the scene along with the Carabinieri. The young man refused to be taken to the hospital. The incident, which ended around 3:00 a.m., was captured and filmed by several people who were in the area of the Milano Marittima nightclubs and watched in astonishment.

Initially, rumors of a stabbing spread, but these were later denied. The fact remains that the climate between Ravenna and the Riviera is particularly tense these days, especially in light of the stabbings that have occurred in the city in recent weeks. Following these incidents, meetings of the Public Safety Committee, chaired by the prefect, were held, with increased police patrols throughout the city and, of course, along the Riviera. Since the beginning of the summer, weekends on the beaches between Marina di Ravenna and Milano Marittima have been particularly heated, with brawls and attacks. The protagonists are always the same: young people who arrive for a single evening or weekend and, often after a few drinks, wreak havoc.
