Anna Danilina (n.17 in the specialty) and Aleksandra Krunic (79) had only played two tournaments together in 2022, they reached the final at their first Slam as a pair. For Krunic it is the first Slam final in her career, for Danilina the second after the one lost at the Australian Open 2022 paired with the Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia.
