Fires in Foggia, flames near Lucera hospital: situation under control

A fire broke out this afternoon in Lucera (Foggia) where the flames, as far as we know, spread to several fronts of the hill below the Lastaria hospital. The situation, according to what was reported by the mayor Giuseppe Pitta, is under control. The firefighters worked on site, in addition to the personnel of the voluntary environmental guards and the local police. Meanwhile, two other fires broke out in the Palmori district and Cimino forest on the outskirts of the municipality in the province of Foggia. ( Ansa )
