"Tehran is burning": with these words, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz summed up for X the intensity of the air strikes conducted by the Israeli Air Force against strategic targets in Iran. According to military sources, the targets hit include the Defense Ministry, the headquarters of the Iranian nuclear program, laboratories and oil facilities located near the capital. One of the main targets is the Shahran fuel depot, northwest of Tehran. The site has a storage capacity of 260 million liters, divided into 11 containers, and supplies up to 7 million liters of fuel per day to the capital region. The attack caused extensive fires and structural damage to the facility, local sources report.
