Lucera: Two clubs closed by police: frequent hangouts for drug dealers and criminals.

The State Police continues its prevention and control activities throughout the territory, with a particular focus on public safety and combating high-risk situations. In Lucera , police officers, as part of the services provided by the Foggia Police Chief , served two separate notices pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety : one against a public establishment, the other against a private business.

The measures, signed directly by the police commissioner, provide for the suspension of administrative permits for a period of 7 and 10 days , respectively. The decision is based on the recurring presence of dangerous individuals within both establishments, including convicted criminals, defendants, and individuals with specific criminal records for drug use and dealing .

The measure is part of a broader strategy of control and surveillance aimed at preventing phenomena of degradation and countering situations of criminal aggregation , thus protecting public tranquility.

"The goal," the police headquarters said, "is to provide a concrete response to citizens' demands for security and discourage any conduct that could create a threat to public order." Verification activities will continue throughout the province with consistency and determination.
