No music after midnight on summer weekends

Fun, yes, but without excess. The ordinance to limit noise emissions at night was signed in Vigonza: music is prohibited after eleven during the week, and after midnight on weekends. The municipality of Vigonza has adopted severe measures to regulate nightlife in the entire territory of jurisdiction during the night. This decision comes in response to growing concerns and reports regarding urban decorum and safety highlighted by the commander of the Local Police, especially regarding noise pollution, considered one of the main sources of disturbance for residents near public establishments open in the evening, who complain about noise emissions and noise disturbances, in particular due to the diffusion of musical reproductions.

Furthermore, the imminent arrival of the summer period, which encourages opportunities to meet outdoors, increases the need to protect on the one hand the needs of socializing and meeting in open spaces and areas with that of ensuring adequate protection of the night-time rest period for residents in the areas most affected by youth aggregation. Hence the choice of the administration led by Mayor Gianmaria Boscaro to introduce, until next September 30, throughout the municipal territory, the ban on the use of any musical instrument as well as playing music through electronic and digital devices with microphones, speakers or other acoustic amplification accessories after midnight on Saturdays and Sundays, and after 11 pm on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.
