OFFICIAL – IMU abolished forever, she met the same fate as Simone Inzaghi | Sent away with immediate effect

With IMU definitively abolished, the property tax has met the same fate as the Inter coach, who was fired after failing to score a hat-trick.
When it comes to IMU, many Italians are looking for what we might call good news. The single municipal tax that is paid on property is certainly not well regarded by Italian taxpayers. Introduced several years ago, it weighs like a millstone on the heads of Italians who found themselves pagan every year. In this regard, the first installment is expected to be paid in the next few days, with the second part to be paid only at the end of the year.
But it seems that in these hours a rumor has spread very quickly and the online bulletin boards are now truly full of it. It could be possible not to pay the IMU, to get rid of that much hated tax, which those who own real estate in addition to their first home pay.
In short, IMU could end up not like the mouse, but like Simone Inzaghi, who just a few days ago had to pack his bags and leave Milan.
But as far as the tax is concerned, perhaps it is time to try to clarify things so as not to create misunderstandings.
IMU and what to know about itIMU is therefore the single municipal tax, which must be paid by property owners on all homes other than the main one. The home in which one has one's residence is usually similar, it does not fall under the obligation of this tax, unlike what happened when IMU was introduced into the Italian economic system. The assumption that those who own properties can also afford to pay this tax, could be quite ambitious, unfortunately it must be emphasized that having to pay rather high amounts during the year, really puts a strain on anyone. This is probably also the reason why many people now decide to put their property up for sale.
What you need to know is that there are some citizens who can enjoy exemption from this tax , thus avoiding paying it altogether. Obviously, in order to enjoy all this, it is essential to have specific requirements, otherwise it will not be possible to request the exemption at all. It is therefore necessary to understand which are the cases in which this tax does not have to be paid at all.

In short, we regret to divide those who already thought they did not have to pay, but the IMU was there to be valid, except in the case in which there is no possibility of enjoying some exemptions. In particular, the IMU may not be paid exclusively on: goods buildings, or those built by companies and still unsold, social housing, houses assigned to a person serving in the armed forces.
In all these specific cases, in order to obtain the exemption, it is mandatory to submit an IMU declaration to your municipality of residence. Without completing this requirement, you will not automatically be entitled to the exemption and will have to pay the tax. Therefore, with the exception of those who can enjoy total exemption from paying the tax, for the others, the deadline remains set for June 16.
