Real Forio visits Real Grazzanise. Sanchez calls for consistency.

Real Forio visits Real Grazzanise. Sanchez calls for consistency.

Another intense and emotional week is coming to a close for Real Forio, who will once again be in action this afternoon. After a stunning comeback against Gladiator on Matchday 2 of the championship and Wednesday's Coppa Italia victory against Quarto—a victory that sealed their advancement to the next round of the competition—Mister Carlo Sanchez's green-and-whites return to the road, playing Matchday 3 of the tournament.

The match is at the Raffaele Massaro Stadium, where Real Forio will face hosts Real Grazzanise. With the first goal of the season, qualification for the Coppa Italia, behind them, there's no time to relax: the schedule immediately presents new challenges, and the islanders want to be ready.

At the end of the Cup match, Coach Sanchez wanted to maintain high levels of concentration, sending a clear message to his team: "We're happy to have achieved our first goal of the season, but now our focus is immediately on Real Grazzanise. I want consistency, in performances and results. That's the only way to grow. The more games we play, the better, because the group gets stronger and the atmosphere is more stimulating. I always say: we're a strong team. But we have to believe that and prove it every day: in training, in matches, in every single moment."

A thought that reflects the coach's mentality, devoted to constant growth, to the consolidation of the team's identity and to a hunger for results that knows no respite.

The Opponent: Real Grazzanise. Real Forio will face a team eager for redemption and hungry for points. Real Grazzanise has earned three points from its first two league matches: after a convincing debut with a 3-1 home win against Sant'Anastasia, they suffered a narrow defeat on Matchday 2 away to Puteolana. Their ups and downs so far are confirmed in their Cup campaign: two setbacks—a 3-1 defeat against Albanova and a 0-1 home defeat against Boys Caivanese—have sealed their elimination from the competition.

Despite this, the Rossoblu team, a newcomer to the Eccellenza league, represents a tough opponent. At the helm is Domenico Panico, a young coach with a rich track record of significant experience. Interestingly, both Panico and Sanchez shared an important chapter in their careers at the helm of Pomigliano Femminile, a testament to a modern and detail-oriented football philosophy.

The match promises to be anything but easy for Real Forio, who will have to contend with a team determined to capitalize on home advantage and earn crucial points for survival. Real Grazzanise, in particular, will look to capitalize on the support of their home crowd to undermine the islanders and send out a strong message at this early stage of the season.

Coach Sanchez's Probable Selections : Ahead of today's away match, Coach Sanchez is ready to make some changes to the starting eleven compared to the one he fielded in the Cup. Santaniello is expected to return to the goal, replacing Mazzella in the midweek match.

In defense, Florio is expected to remain on the right flank, while the left flank is still open to the competition between Pistola, Iaccarino, and D'Alessandro. In the center of the defense, Velotti and Mattera will start ahead of Di Costanzo to form the starting pairing. In midfield, Tarascio is expected to start, while Buono is the leading candidate for the under-21 role. Di Lorenzo could give Arrulo a rest, as part of a careful energy management strategy.

In attack, Johnson—in fine form and fresh from three goals in his last two games—has become a sure thing in the Biancoverde attack. Alongside him, Serrano and Santiago appear to be favorites to complete the attacking trio, but watch out for Castagna: the striker, now fully recovered from injury, is champing at the bit for a starting spot and could prove a valuable asset even during the game.

The match between Real Grazzanise and Real Forio will be officiated by Gerardo Rosa of the Sala Consilina section. He will be assisted by assistant referees Francesco Coiro, also of Sala Consilina, and Giovanni Frisulli, of the Ercolano section.
