Rocca di Papa, kills his son's murderer for revenge: Franco Lollobrigida had just left prison

The Deadly Ambush
He killed his son's murderer out of revenge , shooting him in broad daylight in Rocca di Papa , on the outskirts of Rome.
This is what happened on Tuesday morning in the town of Lazio. Here a 61-year-old man, Guglielmo Palozzi , opened fire near the Cotral bus terminal in Piazza della Repubblica, hitting Franco Lollobrigida in the back.
Lollobrigida, 35, had recently been sentenced to 10 years in prison on appeal for manslaughter for the death of Giuliano Palozzi , the son of Guglielmo, the man who opened fire this morning.
Carabinieri from the Frascati group and company and the Rocca di Papa station, as well as 118 ambulances, arrived at the scene of the murder. According to an initial reconstruction, Palozzi waited for Lollobrigida to leave prison to kill him.
Giuliano Palozzi died in 2020 at the age of 34 after being attacked by Lollobrigida over a drug debt of around 25 euros. A laborer living in Rocca di Papa, he died after five months in a coma at the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome on June 11, 2020: after the beating he never woke up.
The attack took place on January 27, 2020, when Palozzi and Lollobrigida met in via Frascati: a heated argument ensued over a drug debt, at the end of which Lollobrigida, with a criminal record, brutally attacked him, kicking and punching him, until he was knocked unconscious on the ground, causing a hematoma on his head. Lollobrigida was then arrested a few hours later by the Carabinieri for attempted murder: after Palozzi's death, the crime became manslaughter.
As Il Messaggero reports, during the trial Lollobrigida confirmed that she had hit him during an argument over a debt, but only to defend herself : “I saw Palozzi take out a weapon or what looked like a gun or maybe a knife, something metal,” she declared in court. “Others would have come after me, whoever reduced him to this state was definitely after me . Otherwise I would have had blood on my clothes, shoes and sleeves. To reduce a person to this state there should be a lot more blood,” Lollobrigida defended himself during the trial.
