Salernitana-Cerignola: What a joke! The Apulian side wins in stoppage time.

Salernitana started strongly, and in the ninth minute, Ferraris gave the Granata the lead with a powerful curling shot. In the 41st minute, Villa doubled the lead, but the goal was ruled out for offside. In stoppage time, in the 45th minute, Ferraris scored his second goal, giving Raffaele's team a 2-0 lead that closed the first half.
The second half turned the game around. In the 54th minute, Tascone, a former player, headed home a Villa cross to make it 2-0. Salernitana seemed in control, but Cerignola responded: Emmausso pulled one back in the 71st minute, then Salernitana were reduced to ten men in the 68th minute following Capomaggio's red card. In the 84th minute, the referee awarded the visitors a penalty, which Emmausso converted again to make it 2-2.
In stoppage time, with Arechi pushing, the game was a complete disappointment: in the 90th minute, Cuppone completed the comeback, making it 2-3. At the end, Granata coach Raffaele was also sent off for protesting. Salernitana, who had come close to a sixth consecutive victory, was forced to surrender to the clinical Cerignola, who turned the game around in the final minutes.
